ABOUT ME
Hi my name is Pim,
I believe yoga is for everybody and I strive to teach in a way that is accessible and inclusive, supporting as many ways to interact with the practice as possible. The practice of yoga gives us an opportunity to learn more about ourselves physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I teach with an ethos of non judgment, acceptance and kindness.
I teach from a felt sense, encouraging people to pay attention to how things feel for them with an emphasis on making the practice their own. The invitation is always to do as much or as little as you like, as a teacher I am there to guide rather than tell my students.
My classes are relaxed, friendly and welcoming with an element of fun. I always offer options and modifications and welcome questions and feedback.
The STudio
I have a private purpose built air conditioned studio with plenty of parking in the quiet and peaceful setting of the Suffolk countryside. I am a strong believer in the importance of personal space so I keep my classes small. The studio accommodates up to 8 participants very comfortably.
There is a soft cork floor and all props and equipment are provided. To facilitate the most comfort while practicing, I supply mats, neck pillows, bricks, blocks, straps, bolsters, blankets and eye pillows.
The studio is a warm and welcoming sanctuary with lots of personal touches that make it unique. I use aromatherapy to complement the practice and enjoy combining my knowledge of essential oils with my yoga teaching.
What to expect from my classes
I believe in the comfort that familiarity offers us so I will always begin and end my classes in the same way. I teach the same class for two weeks in order for people to feel the most benefit from the practice.
The classes are a mixture of movement, breathwork, meditation and relaxation and I teach from my heart in an effort to share as many of the benefits of yoga that I have experienced myself. I do not teach a particular style of yoga as I believe in the advantages of a varied practice so I often incorporate restorative, yin, vinyasa flow, and hatha.
All classes are 75 minutes
